Thank you very much for inviting me.
I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europeitself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.
First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.
The Europe you know is changing.
You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.
All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe. These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.
There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe. With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.
Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille andMalmo in Sweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.
In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.
Many state schools in Belgium and Denmarkonly serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.
In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.
In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan.
Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya,Israel. I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.
A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live inEurope. San DiegoUniversity recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.
Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The PewResearchCenter reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France. One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.
The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco andTurkey.
Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators 'settlers'. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.
Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.
The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.
Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies. ( COULD THIS BE THE U.S. PRESIDENTS MOTIVATION ).
Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel. First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.
This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh inIndonesia. Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.
The war against Israel is not a war againstIsrael. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been noIsrael, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.
Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoningIsrael in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israelas proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can getIsrael, they can get everything. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. In my country, the Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a danger greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out inEurope faster than you can imagine. An IslamicEurope means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens andJerusalem.
Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe, American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so. We have to take the necessary action now to stop Islam from destroying the free world that we know.
This is not presented as hate mongering against the Muslims but to inform Non-Muslims.

In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child. Consummating the marriage by 9. The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy. Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce. To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses. Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman. In the West World ( America ) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law. By passing this on, enlightened American women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two. She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza . When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society. But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television. In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries. For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world. Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world. While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others. While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism. It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation. While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.
In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President by themselves.
KJV John 3: 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound hereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Do I like to ride? There is a certain freedom about mounting the saddle of a motorcycle. Many say it is the modern day horse. Many times the westerner would put foot in stirrup and just go for a wander. "Where are you going friend?" With a wave of the hand, "That way!" It is all right as a Christian to just go that way. We do not always have to have our lives planned out. We do not always have to have a purpose in a journey other than taking the journey. Sometimes it is so satisfying to just wander towards a destination. Just being with Jesus. No particular objective in mind, just being with Him. Being with Jesus does not always have to involve speech. You do not always have to have a running dialogue with Jesus. What is important is "being with" Jesus. "Being with" just means that you are in the moment giving attention to that moment or more specifically, giving your full attention to the person you are with. So when you are "being with" Jesus you give your full attention to Him by "being in the Spirit". "Being in the Spirit" is nothing mystical or hard to do. Jesus gave us a hint:
KJV John 7: 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
"Being in the Spirit" is simply a connection with Jesus by allowing your mind to be focused on your spiritual center of your body, your belly. An area just below your navel. Try allowing your conscious mind to focus on the spiritual center. It is quite a peaceful, fulfilling sensation. This would be the primary way of "being with" Jesus. It does not mean that you block everything else out, it means that you become engrossed in Jesus while going about your every day life, fully aware of what you are doing yet "in" Jesus. It is kind of like praying without ceasing:
1Th 5: 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit.
When I ride I have more than the physical wind in my face, I have Jesus with me in a very real, tangible way. Today and every day may you be blessed with the presence of Jesus. May you become immersed in "being with" Jesus. Love and blessings to all.

A LONG RIDE TO HARVARD UNIVERSITY
A Los Angeles teenager was one of the most unlikely people to be selected to attend Harvard University, let alone be awarded a “Full-Ride Scholarship.”
Donald Trump once made the following statement:
“The # 1 key to being a successful business person is how you respond to adversity.”
If that statement is correct, then Khadijah Williams has great success ahead of her. A front page article in the Los Angeles Times describes her journey to Harvard University.
As long as she can remember, Khadijah has floated from shelters to motels to armories. In 12 years time she has attended 12 schools while living out of garbage bags among pimps and drug dealers.
When shelters closed or money ran out, she and her mother would pack what little they had and board buses to find housing elsewhere. Khadijah had to learn how to hunt for her next meal, find the nearest bus routes and determine what was a secure place to sleep.
When she was in her junior year of high school, she had to commute by buses from an Orange County armory to school in Los Angeles. She awoke at 4:00 a.m. and returned at 11:00 p.m. Yet in spite of all the challenges, she was able to keep her grade-point average just below a 4.0 (straight A's).
Her secret? At every stop, she pushed herself in each school's gifted student program. She was diligent in her studies, plus she read four to five books a month. In addition, she reached out for assistance to organizations and mentors.
Her reward? A full scholarship to Harvard University.
There is no promise that life is going to be absent of adversity and challenges. However, our response to these negative seasons will determine whether we will fade off into the memories of a distant past or continue to live a life of meaning and impact.

Here I sit scratching my head and wondering how one would address a veritable plague among Christians, that being depression.
In my years as a Christian I have suffered very deep bouts of depression. The worst that I remember is in Nov. of 1983. I was a brand new Christian. Shortly after I was Born Again, I went into a deep dark hole of depression. Every day seemed as if there was a spiritual night surrounding me. Everything was dark. I remember sighing a lot and just happy that the day was over and I could retreat into sleep. It was horrid! I felt so alone and helpless. I figured no one would understand and be able to help me and I was right.
Fortunately for me I snapped out of it in less than 2 weeks.
We like to blame the devil for more things than it (remember that satan is only an angel and an angel has no gender) is responsible for. Saying that it is the devil and that you can pray him away has no meaning to a person that is deep in the pit of depression. That person can hardly breath let alone think of how to get out of where he is at. That person will look at you, sigh and walk away. This scripture will help to explain what I mean:
James 2: 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the
body; what doth it profit?
It might seem a bit harsh nevertheless that is how a depressed person would feel. I know because I have been there. It is like giving a drowning man a heavy stone to hold.

Many people in Christian ranks hide their depression because they think it is shameful not to be a perfectly happy Christian all the time. Their smile is on the face while the tears are in the eyes ready to flow.
Let me give you all hope IT IS OK TO BE HUMAN!!
Part of our humanity is occasional bouts with depression whether they are caused spiritually or otherwise. Jesus made us the way we are: human. We are not an angel or are we Jesus.
Psalm 8: 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
We know that this is talking about Jesus. Jesus took on human form for a brief time here on Earth and by doing so took on all the attributes of His creation, man. He knows what we are or will be going through. He know about depression. That is why He has given us other people to lean on and help us through.
Let me proclaim that it is OK to feel depressed and lean on others. Now here is the qualifier; as long as you do not use it to draw others into your emotional state or use it to gain attention. Harsh?? Well we as humans can use depression as a tool to satisfy our deepest needs of love and acceptance. In that case there is no desire to get out of depression only to stay in it to satisfy OUR desires.
Having said that let is be said that we spend so much time focusing on the problems (sin, world, flesh) that we lose our focus of making it to heaven by just being a Christian.
KJV Luke 10: 41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
Martha focused upon the problems while Mary focused upon the solution or the object of the quest: Jesus and being a great Christian.
The "Parable of the Sower" is the same thing, focusing upon the wrong thing.
I was given this quote a while ago; "What you focus upon expands." That is exactly what we do when we are depressed, focus on the wrong thing ... us.
Let me say this, when you are in the depths of depression that quote has absolutely no meaning let alone relevance because you are unable to focus on anything else other than your depression. That quote will help you keep away from depression once you are back on your feet again.
Let me say again, it is permissible to be human and look how you feel, for a while.
What did David do?
KJV 1 Samuel 30: 6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
He encouraged himself in the Lord BEFORE he slipped too fare into depression. It is a temptation to just want top slip into those familiar dark depths, isn't it? Yes slipping into the old ways is a temptation.
KJV 1 Corinthians 10: 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
KJV James 1: 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
KJV 2 Thessalonians 3: 3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
Please be encouraged. The thing with depression is to always keep on top of it by focusing on positive things. Yes bad things happen to good people however we are able to choose how we wish to respond to situations in our lives. Yes there will be times when we slip into depression yet our time there will be greatly shortened.
The dark tunnel of depression ALWAYS has an end. Jesus is the light at the end of the tunnel and the light in the tunnel.
KJV John 8: 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
KJV John 12: 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
Until I became stronger in the Lord Jesus, I was unable to help myself, I couldn't even pray my way out of the darkness. That is when I turned to understanding and discreet Christian friends to pray for me. It was their prayers that help me out because I was helpless to do anything.
Do not be discouraged if you become depressed there is a way out; Christian friends and the guiding light of Jesus. Once you are out of the dark tunnel you can encourage yourself in the Lord Jesus and face anther day with a truly happy spirit.
May the light of Jesus always guide you. May you moment-by-moment encourage yourself in the Lord. Be blessed and happy.
It is upon Eagle's wings that we soar into the heaven.
KJV Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
We are in an era of great change; change that will bring about a shakeup in our own personal worlds. Be not dismayed because Jesus is orchestrating this change. He will not leave you comfortless: KJV John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless (bereft of a teacher, guide, guardian, orphaned): I will come to you.
Jesus said that He would bare you unto Himself and no other.
Many times we think of theses Eagle's wings taking us away from the troubles of this world so we will find peace away from the responsibilities that we have here.
KJV Psalm 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Jesus said that He would calm the storm not take us out of the boat of this life. It is this calm in Him that will help us through the coming change. A change that will refine all those that profess that Jesus is Lord.

In '07 we were coming back from a Klemmer & Associates event in June. We had our dogs at Doggy Boarding. While I was there I saw this puppy (like the one pictured) there. He was there so our Groomer could find a family for him. He was all hairy, little and what I though was a little on the ugly side. However Jesus had other plans for me. When I said that he was for sale, the words just popped out of my mouth: "I might be interested." Now where did that come from? We had 3 dogs already and I did not believe that we needed, let alone wanted another living being in our home. I went to pick up my wife from work. On the way I said that I wanted her to see a puppy our Groomer had there. There was a bit of resistance, but since I was driving she went along with it. When we got there we got to handle the puppy. He was a snuggler and we took right to him. However he had a growth between one of his toes. A little concern here. It was going away with the medication the vet gave him so we decided to take him home (in sales this is called the puppydog close). Our dogs were already used to him. We were to bring him back after the weekend because he had to go back to the vet for a checkup. I fell head-over-heals in love with Tyler (yes we named him. Go figure, eh!). Later that day we heard that Tyler had cancer. Not a great prognoses but It did not fase me because I though that we could make his remaining days comfortable. You see I loved him and wanted to keep him alive to help feed this love. The owners took him to a vet school to be further diagnosed and possibly be treated. The word came back that Tyler's cancer had destroyed all his boan marrow. They did not allow him to wake up :'( Of course like every human that has lost something I gave praise to God. Yeah right! I did what came naturally; I blamed Jesus for my pain that He had caused me. You see I figured out that it was Jesus that gave me this deep love for Tyler and later on I found out that I was right. I felt like my heart had been ripped out; an EXTREMELY emotional experience. After I calmed down a bit I asked Jesus; "What am I to learn from this experience?" A good question that He immediately answered: "DON'T EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!" Huh? What does that have to do with Tyler's death? Now Jesus that is a totally unrelated statement, right?
"DON'T EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!"
Now I figure when Jesus says the exact thing twice I had better listen. So I put on my listening spirit and listened. Tyler's death was an emotional event that would allow me to remember what Jesus wanted me to remember; that is that He wants all of us to have dreams to fulfill. Jesus sent Tyler into our lives for a purpose. Tyler's life was Jesus's gift to me. A gift that I appreciate to this day. Jesus wants us to have dreams that are for us alone. He has made us, formed us and (hopefully, if we have a relationship with Him) directs us. I will talk about this in more detail later but we can make His dreams for us our dreams.

As we can see "vision" is divine communication and "law" is instruction. I can only say that when Jesus communicates with us, it is His instruction for our lives. Not all instruction is for the present. When it is for the future it is a dream. That is why I say: "A dream is a reality that has not appeared yet." Being totally devoted to Jesus I have the faith and belief that these instruction for the future are my dreams that have not appeared yet. Tyler's Gift if for you also. The safety board’s report on the commuter plane that crashed in Buffalo last February came out this month. Of great concern was that apparently the aircraft was on autopilot when it went down in icy weather, indicating that the pilot may have violated federal safety recommendations and the airline's own policy for flying in such conditions.
Running a business or church is much like flying a plane. When conditions are favorable it is as if everything can run on auto-pilot. However, when conditions are deteriorating, one needs to change from their normal operating procedures. I was reminded of this truth as it applies to life only last week. I was visiting with my friend Ed Gungor, a best-selling author, seminar speaker and pastor. In one of his teachings at a previous event, Ed shared about the necessity of balancing “God Auto-Pilot Thinking” with one’s own efforts.
“Christians tend to fall in one ditch or the other. Some folks end up in the ditch of thinking that there will be little working and they just wait for increase to sort of ‘happen.’ They think increase is all God and His sovereign blessing. On the other hand, there are others who believe that it’s all about their own efforts and cunning. They really don’t trust God for increase – they get enough on their own (they may say God brings increase, but only because it makes for good religious press). Those who believe God is going to ‘make it happen’ believe that He can do whatever He wants to. It would be a simple matter for Him to make them win some kind of Divine lottery.
However, God values planning, effort and work. God views the talents and abilities He gives us as investments…and He expects a return. The fellow in Matthew 25 who heard, ‘Well done good and faithful servant,’ was the guy who worked with what God had invested in him! The one who heard, ‘You wicked, lazy servant,’ was into heavy sovereignty – believing that he could ‘reap where he had not sown.’ God was pretty torqued at that guy – he was a slacker.
Psalm 20:7 declares, ‘Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.’ You would think that if Israel was not to trust in the chariots and horses, then why have them? Or, if they have them, why not have some old, beat up ones? But Israel had the best chariots and horses that money could buy. They had the best, but they refused to trust in the best. I think that’s what God wants from us – to do our best, be our best, work to get better, BUT NEVER TRUST IT; always trust Him.”
In these treacherous economic times, it is this balance that is necessary for one to maintain in order to overcome adversities and end up victorious. Do all you can and then believe God to make up what you cannot do.

KJV 1 Corinthians 6: 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Our Christian bodies are the temple (sanctuary) of Jesus Christ. It is here that we interact with Jesus. Our bodies are like an interface between Heaven and Earth (so to speak. Give me poetic license here please.). In my own life when my health and consequently my energy are compromised I feel less connected with Jesus. I do not even want to bother about spiritual things let alone doing spiritual work. It is this physical energy (strength if you will) that helps us overcome the "wicked one". Our physical energy is directly related to how we interact with others.
KJV 1 John 2: 14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men (used as a young attendant or servant), because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
Have you ever been around someone who's eyes sparkle, radiate health and energy? Were you attracted to them or not? Our state of physical energy is directly connected to our spiritual strength. It is my belief that we owe it to ourselves and others to have physical energy. Furthermore, having more energy allows Jesus to work through us better. A few years ago I was reading an article or heard it on a tape that the Christians in the Eastern countries (I think they were specifically talking about the Middle East) worship Jesus not for what He does but for whom He is. That kind of rocked my world.It was like a light going off in my head.I believe it was an epiphany (a very popular word these days).
In North America and the European countries, Jesus is worshipped for what He does for the individual.
We are so results oriented that it hurts.When we look at results primarily then it would follow that we are looking at what is done and how it is done.The process has become everything and therefore the results and quick results at that, become the primary reason for doing something.
When I grasped the idea of worshipping Jesus for who He is, I felt liberated.No longer was I bound by the guilt-ridden convention that surrounds worshipping and serving Jesus.
Guilt-ridden??We are constantly reminded of what He did for us on the cross.We are constantly reminded of the blood He shed for our sins.We are constantly reminded that we are sinners, even though we serve Jesus and are saved the Biblical way.
KJV 1 John 4:
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
As the Bible says: Jesus has cast out fear in us.We do not have to fear or be constantly under the burden of sin guilt.Are we to live a life that upholds the righteousness of Christ?Yes but that does not mean that we are to live lives bound to this righteousness and every slip away from it means spiritual death.This is not the way of Jesus.
I do not have the guilt of not doing enough for Him or living a life bound by the guilt of imperfection.I love Him and worship Him because He is Jesus and He is God.No more or no less, just because He is.
I love Him just the way He is, as He loves me just the way I am.I adore my Master and serve Him just because.There are no strings attached or do I have to do a multitude of wonderful works.Jesus accepts and loves me the way I am without qualification.
That is why I worship and serve Him for who He is.
